I got a TXT MSG today from the High School Student that serves as the Media Director for CFPB's Middle School Ministry. Greg is a great kid, and I look forward to the day he comes and serves on the adult side of Media.
Until then, I get to enjoy messages like this:
1) The "kid" obviously is coming up with some creative way to use our excess leftovers.
2) He respects enough to ask, instead of just taking.
3) He was hanging out in the control room. The control room is in the Adult Worship Center. Greg is comfortable enough with us to come hang out with the volunteers on the adult side, and to learn some things (although he could really TEACH us some things).
4) He has EARNED the right to "it's easier to ask FORGIVENESS than PERMISSION." Very few have, but I congratulate him for getting to that point.
For the record, the gels that were in the trash were blasted with 1000 watt bulbs for 6-9 wks. Have no idea what he was going to do with the melted plastic scraps, but I'm sure it's phenomenal.
Greg, thanks for continually challenging me.
