Listed below are links to weblogs that reference House: Christian "R"-Rated Horror Flick? ABOUT TIME!!!:

Comments

Well, if you read the book, the story unfolds. The movie is rated R because of the story line. Its not just a horror, I mean the story is life. Life is a horror film without Christ... any horror film is without Christ. But without Christ Jesus at the center of your life the movie and book HOUSE is an exact example of what you'r life is like and what your life will be after death. It is and will be HELL forever without Jesus Christ. I read the book at 14. I thought it was an amazing redintion of what the struggle between good and evil, God and Satan, and the struggle within yourself to be for God or against him. I want to see the movie. I agree its not for anyone under the age of 15 or 16. But like you said it will reach so many people. And hopefully it will click that they need Jesus Christ.

the passion of the Christ was rated R........

im 16, i read the book, can't wait to the movie. im not a big fan of scary of, i wouldnt see haunting of molly whatever or Saw. the difference? this is Christian based and i know the story will unfold and everything will make sense without questioning my values. frank perretti is my all time fav. author

When i had read this book, i was in Awww the whole time. now that it is out in theaters i will be even more shocked, once i had finished the book i kept imaging the book through my head lets just hope it stays with the story line of the book.
