Hey, Jeff, thanks for sharing this table with us. It's pretty thorough and interesting.

My favorite symbol is the "supported before/ opposes now" icon. Some would say such a position demonstrates the ability of a decision maker to consider new information and to embrace change when it's beneficial. Others might see it as an indication that a candidate is speaking out of both sides of his/her mouth.

Like you said, it's going to be a long fifteen months!!

I'll bet, by the time the election rolls around, the chartmakers will have added a new symbol--a circle containing a tic-tac-toe board. Yep, the "waffle" symbol might just dominate the chart by then.

We watched MSNBC as we worked out last night and the entire 1 hour segment was devoted to "Decision 2008." (let's get a little more orginal on the name folks...)

The funniest thing I learned is that Florid set it's primary election date for something like January 28, 2008... so then South Carolina and Iowa had to jump ahead. Apprently the states are so adamdent about having the first primary that they keep trumping each other's dates and analysts say the first primary for the election will be held in December 2007.. OUT-OF-CONTROL! I'm over it...
