The higher age bracket of pod casters is the result of the same reason wealthier, educated folks are buying the technology in the first place... D.I. that gets them the tech, which is why they would podcast. It's funny that so many people are off assuming that 18-30 have the buying power.

My problem with most podcasts is the "fact" that most podcasters are merely using a different medium to say the same stuff I already heard them say. Why should I listen to Mark Driscoll's podcast if I already read it in one of his books.

Another reason could be that most pastors are 34-54 and they are watching other sermon podcasts so that they know what they're preaching the next week.
